PAWEEN is not only working to change the future. We are called to prosper the lived experience of women in the right now.

Prayer: Gracious and loving God, thank you for the women of PAWEEN who have dedicated themselves to the dignity of the human person, who are incarnating the truths of love, freedom, peace, hope, and koinonia; who have engaged the elements of the soul that are eternal: the life of the mind and the power of words and ideas to create and recreate, to shape and reshape reality.

O God, bless us to make a tangible impact in the lives of women and their families and communities. Grant us grace that we may boldly approach the future navigating the pull of vision and vocation with the valor to make the most of every opportunity in that season called today. Conference Concept Note:

Genesis 1:27 states: So God created humankind in God’s own image, in the image of God humankind was created; male and female God created them.

The divinity, dignity and rights of women and girls of Africa and African Descent invites a vision and agenda of wholistic healthcare, nutritious food, productive farming, zero hunger, access to land, equitable wages and education, development and policies, programs and practices of empowerment that come alongside their self-determined leadership for their lives and families.
